This is written about my cousin Mark who committed suicide on my seventh birthday. I wrote this poem (and several others) to help me remember him and express my feelings about the suicide.

A poem I wrote to get over the suicide of a close family member/friend.
There was once a horse named Cracker Jack,
and he had a little girl sitting on his back.
Her grandpa walked along her side,
holding the reins tig
He taught me how to build a fire;
he gave me hope and desire.
He taught me how to build a chair;
he told me that life wasn’t fair.

My Grandpas were very different but they both always loved me
A disease call Alzheimer’s
There were good times and bad,
the good times were great and the bad times were sad.
