Poetry by Annabel Sheila
Dedicated to my beautiful daughter who has suffered most of her life with depression. I don't ever want to lose her, so I love her through her pain.
I truly believe if we all let the child within us come out, the world would be a better place.
No one can truly understand depression unless you either live with it or love someone who lives with it. This poem is dedicated to my beautiful daughter who has been suffering from depression for so long I don't remember when she wasn't depressed. All I can do is try and love her through her pain....
Dedicated to every family whose parent is suffering with dementia or altzheimer's disease.
This poem is a lyrical laugh! I hope it makes people smile.
Remember as a child when you were scared to be awake in the night on Xmas Eve? I thought I heard Santa one time, then Mom bent down and kissed my forehead. I'm sure she noticed my tightly squeezed eyes when she moved the blankets off my head.
As a child growing up in Newfoundland, I remember one Christmas when there was no snow a week before Christmas and how concerned I was that Santa might not be able to come without it. But, ah not to worry, by Christmas Eve we had at least a foot of snow on the ground. I can still remember the intense relief I felt that Santa would have no problem getting to my house.
Another poem by Annabel Sheila, just for fun!
I love to write lyrical poetry. This is one I wrote just for fun!
Wouldn't the work environment be wonderful if office policy including time to laugh every day?
