In Memory Poems
Memories of our family and childhood are what shape our personality and who we are. Whether we like it or not, our personality is formed by our parents, brothers, sisters, and the environment that we grew up in. For some interacting with their family feels like more bother than it is worth. They cut off ties with their families and make up pseudo families made up of chosen friends. This is OK as long as we realize that our past continues to affect who we are. We can only grow as people when we choose to confront our past. Only then can we move forward in our lives.

My Memory Library
Imagine if I was given one moment,
just a single slice of my past.
I could hold it close forever,
and that moment would always last.
I'd put the moment in a safe,
within my hearts ..........
just a single slice of my past.
I could hold it close forever,
and that moment would always last.

I Miss You Grandma
I think about you all the time,
And everyday it hurts to cry.
So much has happened in my life,
I'm not sure how hard to try.
Tears are falling constantly,
My heart hurts ..........

I'm not sure how hard to try.
Tears are falling constantly,

Memories
I feel a warmth around me

It was then I thought of you

Tears from my eyes shown how much I missed you

Thinking About Dad and Remembering How Special He Was
Each day I wake to start a day that’s normal as can be.
Some cooking, cleaning, paperwork, as busy as a bee.
But everyday the thoughts of you that buzz around my head distract me from this ..........

My Father, The Trainer
The man's name was Dick, he had no other.
He came at a time when names were no bother.
He was born one of many, maybe lost in the crowd,
