When a loved one passes away, all that is left are memories of what was.
Deepest Love

Ever since the day I saw you,
when I first opened my eyes.
I knew that you would love me,
through all the friends and the guys.
I may have said I hated you,
and never wanted to see you again.
But I really didn't mean it,
you were my best friend.
When I moved I did miss you,
but said you'd always be there.
It didn't occur that life was short,
and to cherish you like my teddy bear.
Now that you are gone,
I learned what I never could.
To make the most of my life,
and try hard to do some good.
I wish you were still here,
right next to me everyday.
But now it's too late to hope for that,
I now know that I loved you in every way.
