Feelings I had on my Grandmother Flossie's funeral Day.
Funeral Day

They put your casket in the ground on November 2, 2007 on a gray rainy day, it was so hard to just leave you there, to turn my back and walk away.
There was a luncheon at your house, it was so strange not to see you in your chair, I looked around and it was so crowded and I was in such despair.
All your friends and family were there sharing happy memories of you, I listened not really paying attention as my head kept spinning, I wasn't sure what to do.
Trying to keep my composure until most people left was so hard, I panicked as I went to leave knowing everything familiar was now gone, my feelings I could not discard.
On the way back through town we stopped at your grave, as I stood there I told you how much I loved you and missed you as I tried to be brave, but one last touch of holding your hand and hearing your voice I did crave.
