Death Poem

Next Poem >>

This poem is for my great grandpa who was my closest family member 'John Mc Greevy.' Until I wrote this poem I couldn't let go of him dying as it haunted me.

I Miss You

©  Chloe Mc Greevy
His garden fills with moans and cries
Especially the willow he mopes and sighs
For a place that was once filled but now empty
And never can be filled again

The dog’s gone so has the heart
And just to think there once was love

Hugs, kisses and memories were born
But now all they do is mourn
For one soul, one heart, one person
He shall never come back but his love shall
stand
Because he could love more than any other man

So weeping willow at my side please stop crying
Everything is going to be alright please stop
crying
I Miss You by Chloe Mc Greevy @FamilyFriendPoems
