thinking about grandad who passed away
I Wish I Knew You
©

Hearing stories about you makes me want to cry
It brings buckets of tears to my eyes
Dad tells me about all the adventures you and him went on
It hurts me inside that your gone
I can't wait to get to heaven and meet you at last
I wish I was there to laugh with you and smile with you before you past
But for now I'll just have to wait for my time
And watch all these people commit a crime
So I guess that's all
GOD has made his call
I will cherish your story
As if they were your memory
Rest in peace grandpop Barry
I will miss you dearly
May you watch over me
And make sure I don't cry Boy does it hurts me that your gone
