My dad has neuropathy, which is nerve damage in his feet, and he been going down hill since then. So I wrote this poem to try to help me say goodbye to him.
Saying Goodbye

Daddy is in no shape
And there no time to wait
So I am not going to waste no time
So I am going to say what's on my mind
I am Daddy's girl and you are my world
You are my heart and soul and I have
a fear of letting go
Even though you leave this place
I will have you in my heart to stay
I know it will be hard to say goodbye
but we will see each other at the pearly gates
