This lady was my mother growing up. I loved her more than anyone on this earth. I miss her so much.

My Mothers Mother.

©  Joel Mckeown
I sat there and watched her, helpless fighting for every breath
The Doctor said she would die today so all of the family left.
My grandfather cried and said I can not leave your side
Although I do not want to see you go, I have to stay to say goodbye.
My love for you has grown into a treasure you can not buy
All of the years I have watched you live now today I watch you die
Please don’t leave me baby I don’t want to be alone.
I am scared, I have to see you, you make our house a home.
He sat there and watched her as she took her final breath.
Then he folded her arms, crying and kissed her sweet little head.
