I wrote this poem because I lost my grandmother. She died and she was cremated and her funeral was on my birthday.
Sad To Say Blue

We left in a hurry so mad and confused
When the door slammed it left your heart bruised
So sad and blue
And so much pain inside you
When you cried I cried
When you laughed I laughed too
But when you died I cried
You weren’t there and I was alone
I thought I felt my heart turn to stone
The tears poured down salty and wet
God took you away
And now I am left
To say goodbye
Goodbye to you.
