Poem: A mother conveys to her children the pain she feels that she will soon be leaving them for another realm. She reassures them that she will be watching over them.

My Children

©  Sharon P. Johnson
My children, you will never know just how it hurts me so,
To know that I will soon: have to let you go.
For you see, the Lord is calling me, up from Heaven High,
Wanting me to be, right by his side.
Please don't cry, when you think of me.
Just look up and smile,
I will be watching after you.
