The death of a grandfather hits his granddaughter hard. She loves him more than ever now that he is gone.
My Grandpa

My Grandpa Marvin died today.
Oh how I wish that he could stay.
Our selfish hearts just want him here,
but we know he's always near.
A stubborn man my Grandpa was,
but still I gave him all my love.
Now as an angel in the sky,
I watch my Grandpa Marvin fly.
A special man he is to me,
Now that he's gone I now see,
how much my Grandpa means to me.
So as he watches from the sky,
We kiss our precious dove good-bye.
