It was a shocking day!
Five and a half months of pregnancy,

And afraid for her life.

A normal routine you've done day after day,
In my arms you fell asleep with me sitting still in the rocking chair,

You were once a dream in my heart.
I was told I would never be able to have and hold you as long as I live,
but God came and blessed me with love.
