Hard Times Poems
Part of the reality of life is hardship. That is not a negative statement. It is simply a statement of fact. Every day brings new challenges. Living with the expectation that life will be difficult makes hard times easier to deal with. When a family encounters hard times they will need to join together and face the challenge as a team. They will need to be sensitive to the needs of individual family members each of whom will face unique difficulties. Life is not easy, but having a support system makes life that much easier.

When I Have My Kids Poem, Why
Why do you keep going on like everything's okay?
Treating me the way you do like it's a normal day.
I am confused of who you are, and who I am to you,
I'm scared that you will never know who ..........
Treating me the way you do like it's a normal day.
I am confused of who you are, and who I am to you,
I'm scared that you will never know who ..........
Dad Get Your Life Together, Tearless Cries
Why are you doing this, ruining your life?
The only thing you've accomplished is causing stress & strife
We're all trying to help you with this hard & trying time
But you think we're crazy, ..........
The only thing you've accomplished is causing stress & strife
We're all trying to help you with this hard & trying time
But you think we're crazy, ..........

Mother And Son Parted At Birth Poem, The Home He Knew Best
A mother and son were parted at birth,
Wrenched from each other on this terrible earth,
With no place to go she walks through the night,
Looking for somewhere till the morning ..........

With no place to go she walks through the night,
Looking for somewhere till the morning ..........
When Daddy Went Away
When Daddy went away-
I saw my Mommy cry, the tears ran down her face, she looked like she would die.
When Daddy went away-
He filled his suitcase up, bent down to say goodbye but ..........

Dad And Mom Stop Fighting, Through For Good
I come home every night
and in my eyes
you can see fear and fright
my parents argue and raise their fists
it's times like this I want to
slit my wrists
they don't care what I see or ..........

you can see fear and fright
my parents argue and raise their fists
it's times like this I want to
slit my wrists

What About Me
My sister gets all the love
And support she needs
She has always been first
In your mind and heart
But what about me
My brother gets anything
He wants even when ..........
And support she needs
She has always been first
In your mind and heart
But what about me
My brother gets anything
He wants even when ..........
I Deserve To Be Free, Forget
Forget how to care.
Forget how to trust.
Forget how to love.
For my sanity, I must.
Been burned by the promises
and many a lie.
I've sat back and watched
as my feelings all ..........
Forget how to trust.
Forget how to love.
For my sanity, I must.
Been burned by the promises
and many a lie.
I've sat back and watched
as my feelings all ..........

Poem On How Can A Single Mother Manage Alone? How Am I
How am I going to explain this to you?
I have four children and don't know what to do.
I have had less than eight hours of sleep all week.
I am so tired of yelling, I can barely speak.

Mom With Depression, Traffic Light
This traffic light inside my head
Is always green and never red.
My thoughts, my dreams and all my fears
They all speed past my listening ears.
I close my eyes to block it out
But ..........
Is always green and never red.
My thoughts, my dreams and all my fears
They all speed past my listening ears.
I close my eyes to block it out

Poem About The Hard Times In Life, Holding On
The three of us hold on tight,
Never ever let go and we'll be alright,
We've held on this long,
And we've put up a fight,
So don't let go now,
And we'll make it through another night.
Never ever let go and we'll be alright,
We've held on this long,
And we've put up a fight,
So don't let go now,
And we'll make it through another night.
