Most children don't recognize all that their Mothers and Fathers have gone without just to give to their children. Until we become parents it is impossible to fathom the sacrifices that they made to raise us. Only once we ourselves have felt the joy and burden of bringing a new life until this world do we realize how much we owe our Parents. When children take the time to write a poem expressing their appreciation for the gifts he has received from his Mother and Father it is special.
