Pet Friend Poem

Next Poem >>

This is dedicated to a loyal and wonderful pet cat named Penny. She went out one day and never came back, so wherever she is this is for her and if she wants her to know that her owner still loves her.

Penny Pasta

You cuddle and purr,
Make me feel all warm inside,
With your silky fur.
You are always by my side.

When I am in my bed asleep,
You are right next to my cheek,
Even when I weep,
And even there when I speak.

You are my best non - human friend.
I can tell you it all
Till the end,
And whenever I call.

You are my pet cat,
And I would not be here without you,
If we did not chat,
Like we do.

I love you my pet,
Forever and all of time.
You can bet with that nose so wet,
That you are all mine.
