This is a poem about getting swallowed by addiction

Go Ahead

©  Stanley
And as you strive to rhyme these words, the hole you've dug gets deeper, and as you sit here wide awake the hill you climb grows steeper, and they will all be present for the work they must attend, and you will be among them with a complex you must fend...so keep drowning reality with all of your drugs, and cut off all the arms that offer you hugs...go ahead, laugh, and howl at the moon...this shit will catch up not a moment to soon.
