Wise Friend Poem

Here this stranger stands right in front of me
Is she an imposter imposed to hurt me next
Or a friend to be
Questions pounded in my head, but I was willing to take the chance

The perception you see isn't who she should be perceived
She felt the anger, brought out the pain
Started sealing my broken heart
That was on its way to a grave
A chance was taken and no regrets were made

Beautiful on the inside as well as the out
If she ever sought a soul, I'm here to help
Here hard times have beat her, But still she stands tall
She is understanding of life, Its like she's been through it all
No judgments has ever been past for she's not one to judge

We shared our stories, it seems we share something in common
Cried and laughed
I looked back upon a chance I took way back
She snuck in and stole my trust
But she's my Great Friend who I've grown to love
