Hi there! My name is Maggie Toramanian and I wrote this poem after a comedic phase I began...
A Hopeless Romantic

Margaret Toramanian
No more being a hopeless romantic.
It’s over.
Done.
No more thinking I'm "meant to be" with him because our grandmothers have the same name
or because we both eat the same brand of mortadella
or better yet, because I had the "feeling" he was different.
Nope, all finished.
I am adopting a new personality trait as one who just disregards such things
and WILL NOT declare to her friends she loves a new man after speaking to him for 15
minutes. Yup.
No more being a hopeless romantic.
HURRAY!
