I wrote this last year ago bit of fun

Vampires Lair

©  Marie Tully
A horse and carriage
Came to my dwelling
It beckoned me to come
I stepped into a darkened night
Down to the gate I strolled
A mist had gathered under my feet
It began curling round my knees
A shiver rolled up and down my spine
Sending fear that seemed to please
The horse began to stomp his foot
As the carriage door flew open
A sweetly smell hung in the air
A spell or two was spoken
A darkened form inside did sit
And boar a bony finger towards me
I did not hesitate a bit
As I was to be reborn
We travelled long and darkened roads
I did not recognize
We reached our destination
Before the sun could rise
Into where the Vampire lies
