Home Sweet Home

I miss you when I am away

Dad, Sis, Mom

I miss you when I am alone


I miss your love so much

That younger brothers

That elder brother’s punch –

It comes hard onto me

And stops halfway


The beloved’s smile

That stops my heartbeat, for a while


And that picture on the wall

I have the same picture here with me

Which contains us all……………………………………………………


I am so happy, when I get a holiday

… and I am on my way


But I have to be back

At any time, the enemy may attack


I have to hold the line

… for the nation’s pride

And lay my life

… if the need arise


I fight for the people…

I fight for your sake…

So that you are safe

While I’m here, in these hard circumstance


I’m always vigilant, leaving nothing to chance

What gives me strength…?

It’s will power, patriotism and fellow army men

What gives me power

- is the picture of us all


My only prize..

… is the smile on everybody’s face

… in the picture of us all

That I carry always


For your tomorrow, I give my today
