A poem about World War Two
The Horror
©
Querida Schooner
The horror,
The gas,
the death.
The taps,
they turn,
The Jew's,
They cry.
The horror
Gets stronger,
And stronger,
But it dies,
As well as the Jews.
They're dragged around
Into the burning
Red flames,
Shot,
If not dead,
By the gas.
The horrifying sight,
The ruined future,
The truth of evil.
The epic battle,
Between Jews
And Nazi's.
I wonder how
Anybody
Could be
So cruel
To innocent
Children,
Elders,
All Jews
Thousands of them
Were cruelly
Slaughter
Beginning with one man
disliking Jews
