Courage Poem

Next Poem >>

When life is at it's darkest moment and waiting for the light to shine through.

Darkness Befalls

Gliding deep into the forest
Darkness covers me like a blanket
And the mist surrounding me
I feel like there's no way to flee

I look beyond the broad horizon
See the moon shine over the sea
Like the oceans filled with sadness
I run, stumble and try to break free

The path encloses and I’m shattered
Tears of rain encumbers me
Darkness embraces me like a child
Now I wait for him to let me be
