Short Love Poem

Next Poem >>

Ted L Glines has been writing since 1965. Having somewhat mellowed out in later years, Ted's works now lean more toward entertainment and humor.

Love Light

Some years ago
when life was black
you walked across my guarded moat
smashed my towered walls asunder
your light of love shone in
warming my cold and dungeoned heart
bringing light and love and reason
for me to seek the dawn
