Girlfriend Poem

Next Poem >>

this just came to me one day as I was thinking of my current girlfriend and how we used to be at each others throats and hated each others guts then fell hard for each other.

M.O.A.N.

I awoke with a start,
I found her,
My Once Angelic Nemesis.

Our mediocre dance always the same,
Encased in the battle field,
Over cast tides of chaotic nakedness,
A voluptuous harmony of open hearts.

A serene sight to always hold dear,
Not corrupted love,
But love of beauty,
I had for her,
My Once Angelic Nemesis.

We walk the edge if the cliffs,
Awkward and shadowed by the mountain,
The ocean’s whisper,
Violent to the core,
One question left to ask,
Is there still love in?
My Once Angelic Nemesis.

The nemesis I have come to see,
With surprising awkwardness,
Falling after the leap,
Into the shadow garden’s whirlpool,
Freedom that is openly shown with the,
Violent embrace of the ocean’s whisper.

We were free to love again,
The love I always held for,
My Once Angelic Nemesis.
