Snow Poem

Sleeping softly through the day ,
Never making a sound.
Only seeming to wake up ,
When the sun goes down ,
that is when
Young snowy owls come out to play.

Opening its eyes ,
ready to fly.
Wings at the ready ,
at the edge of the nest
Leaves the forest into the night ,
eyes lit by the moon .
