A Boy Like You

When I first met you
I felt like I had known you forever,
Telling you my secrets
And what I didn't want ever.

Over a period of time
I got to know the real you,
A boy so caring
With a heart so true.

Angels sing when you are near,
And in your arms I have no fear.
You always know what to say.
Just talking to you can make my day.

The moment I think of you
I go to another world,
A world where you love me too,
A world where I cannot get hurt.

If letting go was a choice,
Then I definitely would,
But I can't deny the strong voice
Telling me I never should.

So I've decided
Time answers all,
And if it is meant to be,
Time will demolish the wall.

Ocean so wide,
Time so true,
Never before have I met
A boy like you.

I got lost in this lovely poem and I know exactly what it is about and how it feels. I really like it, and it will make people realize that they are not the only ones who had their hearts broken. There are other people who know how it feels, and it is important to write it down. It is some people's way of letting go or telling how they feel. I just love it and I know now I am not alone.
