Lost Friend Poem
My friend needed help and I stopped at nothing to save her.
Falling

Annah
She loved the idea of fairy tales,
Sometimes they feel as real as anything,
Never afraid to take huge steps,
She was never cautious of how fast she leapt,
Though she fell,
She got right back up and yelled:
I'll never get hurt no way in hell!
Though as unlimited as she believed,
There was a straw that broke her back,
A thieve of dreams,
Clearly broken torn to pieces,
Bored to bits,
I try to fix her,
I tried to paste her back together,
A failed attempt,
Away I limped,
Crushed,
I had rushed to save her but had broken myself in the process,
Now neither of us could reach for the stars,
We both walked away with unfadable scars,
Our night were through,
Our dreams were scuffed,
We leapt into a seemingly unending holes,
When we climbed back up we had forgotten our souls.
Sometimes they feel as real as anything,
Never afraid to take huge steps,
She was never cautious of how fast she leapt,
Though she fell,
She got right back up and yelled:
I'll never get hurt no way in hell!
Though as unlimited as she believed,
There was a straw that broke her back,
A thieve of dreams,
Clearly broken torn to pieces,
Bored to bits,
I try to fix her,
I tried to paste her back together,
A failed attempt,
Away I limped,
Crushed,
I had rushed to save her but had broken myself in the process,
Now neither of us could reach for the stars,
We both walked away with unfadable scars,
Our night were through,
Our dreams were scuffed,
We leapt into a seemingly unending holes,
When we climbed back up we had forgotten our souls.
