A Walk To Remember

A walk to remember
I wish to have with you.
By the sea shore,
In the breeze,
Hand in hand,
Bare feet.
Feeling the warmth of the sand,
Just you and me.
Nobody to see,
Nobody to ask,
Nobody speaks a word,
Not even you and even me,
Just speaking with a language of eyes.
The things I will never forget,
The things I will never want to forget.
Just you and me,
A walk to remember
With you.

Thirty-seven years ago I fell in love for the first time. I was 15 years old. We dated in high school, but I moved from California to Texas. Through social media we have reconnected, but we are married to different people. He and I flirt and talk about high school and what we once had. We unfortunately were always at the wrong place and time for each other.
