My name is Nadya. I wrote this poem during school. I wrote this because I felt really sad and alone. I felt like I was just abandoned by someone who understood me more than anyone else.

Please don't hate me.
Reach out your hand as I reach for you.
You whisper in my ear that we'll be together forever.

I can't stand to watch as you walk away
And leave me standing in the rain.

I go home and cry myself to sleep.

Every day I think about your smile,
your warm laughter and friendly face.
I miss the times you held me close
and whispered, "I love you."

Where have you gone?
I thought you were my friend 'til the very end.
You promised me that we would be together.
But now you're gone and I'm all alone.
All Alone.
