Boyfriend Poem

I wrote this when I went away to vacation without my boyfriend.

All You Fault

© Emily Joyce-Marie Freeman
I lay on you calm, cool, collected as the warmth of our touch warms me to the very core.

But then you...
play silently with my hair and I am no longer calm. My inner voice screams at me to passionately kiss you but my body doesn't want to move an inch.

And you...
softly caress my back and I am no longer cool, all control lost I press close to you seeking neck, lips, tongue. My jaw shakes and I hope you don't notice all while wishing these caresses would last forever.

Then you...
kiss me back and I could never hope to keep collected as your lips melt into mine and your tongue playfully prods at my mouth. This sets deep shutters throughout my body and I know you notice but do not care.

Still you...
explore my body with your finger tips. Spine, hip, navel, breast, beyond. Goosebumbs grow as evidence of your touch. Shivers manipulate my muscles. This is all your fault.
