Friends you meet along the way
Are some you want to always stay.
There are a few who know just when,
What to say, time and again.
You see in some a special light,
Some that burn so very bright.
You have a style, one that I love;
A gift you are from up above.
The thought that you get torn apart,
A thing that just breaks up my heart.
You should know and feel deep inside,
Whatever happens, I'm at your side.
Please do know and be aware,
You are special, and I care.

Friends like you, on this day,
Make me feel a special way.
Deep within you may find
Thoughts unsaid in your mind.
Hold on tight, and don't let go.
Keep the faith, let it grow.
Of all the people throughout my day,
I wish the best for you, I say.
You, my friend, I want to know.
I feel we met long ago.
