Have you ever liked that one person and they never even knew you existed? I know what that's like because I like somebody who only knows my name, but I won't ever give up my hope for him to someday notice me.

You'll never know what this could be
Because you didn't get a chance to know me.

You're the one I know is right
And the one I long to kiss goodnight.

I know someday you'll drift away,
But if I tell you now, will you stay?

Maybe you'll be happy this day came
Because you might feel the same.

But if I never get a chance to say it,
Just know that I meant it.

When you read this you'll wonder, "Who did she write it to?"
I want you to know I wrote it just for you.
