Abandonment Poem

© Rebs
I remember when you would make me laugh
When everything seemed so perfect
The 4 holidays
The flash cars!

Everything just got too much.
The fighting began.
The nights, alone, crying started.
Only to never stop.

It became to hard for me.
But obviously not for you!
There are no second chances in life Dad!

You had my love.
Until my heart broke,
Until everything was real.
I thought you loved me!
Thought I loved you back!

You have other priorities in life.
Go take those chances.
Live your life.

When you go, I'll still love you!
We will just have unfinished buisness.
That one day Dad, we can sort.
Just me and you!
What it used to be like!
I love you!
