Father Poem
When he loses one that he loves, he is left bewildered no knowing where to turn.
Daddy

All of a sudden, my legs felt like lead.
When they told me, that he was dead.
Is it really true?
My years with him,
they were so few.
It made me cry,
sadness was all I felt,
like I was going to die.
And as the tears ran down my face,
I asked God to take me to his heavenly place.
But when he didn't come,
I realized I wasn't done.
So I tried to keep my head up,
Looking for some long lost luck.
When I realized I would make it,
I didn't want my life taken.
Now I have joy in my eyes,
and I realize that people have to die.
My day will come to be with my dad,
but for now, I will not be sad.
