Work Poem

I'm just an average soul like the majority of this globe.

Dead Weight

© John Parker
I've tried so very hard
But now I must say
I don't accomplish too much
At the end of the day

I'm supposed to be good
But I guess that's not true
I don't do things that I should
I just leave them for you

It's easy money for me
But when troubles amass
It's up the management tree
To kiss me some ass

My job is secure
But Iím surrounded by hate
Iím sure to endure
Because I'm dead weight
