Poem To A Friend Suffering Pain And Depression

I have a friend whom I've been in love with for the past three years. He has no idea how I really feel about him. He's been through a lot in the past few years and he's changed so much, and it's killing me to see him hurting so much.

I look deep into your eyes
but all I see are lies
where there was hurt and suffering
there's now a black hole of nothing
I don't know if I can save you
after everything we've gone through
but I'll try
until the day I die
because you deserve so much more
you're someone worth fighting for
