True Love Poem

indeed love excuses no one...even the most playful and elusive one...

Dear

Dear

Devoid of feeling
I thought I was
Had been a lover
But had never truly love
For all those who dare
I jilted not just once
Thought hurt within
Of being fool and dense
Promised still a love
But all I did was mess

Humming as I wonder
In a desolate wilderness
I heard a song
Of a love well expressed
With a cool gentle breeze
My heart it wafts
To inconspicuous corner
Where you stood
Waiting with zest

Actions tantamount words
That moment I guess
For without any ado
Our hearts went abreast

A hurricane may seize
Should your love soon slump
This heart may be maimed
But still would yearn and esteem
For the only dear it knows
The dear one that’s you….
