Stairway To Heaven

Dedicated to my Mom

My dad and I are traveling to my mom's "STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN"
With us we have a gold square box filled with ashes
When sun hits the water it is so calm and crystal clear, it's Long Lake
Holding my mom in the rain is like tears from heaven

My mom wants us to celebrate, not mourn her death
As the sun breaks through the clouds, we dry off our faces
My dad says, "Let's put the sandy-ashes in the pure blue water
We hear the forest echoing her remarkable laughter

As the sun breaks through the clouds we dry off our faces
It's Red, Blue, Green and Yellow, the Rainbow of truth
We hear the forest echoing her remarkable laughter
Oh, it's my mom singing 'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN'

It's Red, Blue, Green and Yellow, the Rainbow of truth
Oh, it makes me wonder is this a monumental moment in our journey
Dear mom, this song is dedicated to you; let your loving porcelain face last forever
Oh, it's my mom singing 'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN'

Oh, it makes me wonder is this a monumental moment in our journey
I can see my mom dancing on the clear glassy water like it's perfect symmetry
Oh, it's my mom singing 'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN'
Seeing my mom's ashes floating in the water of Long Lake

I can see my mom dancing on the clear glassy water like it's perfect symmetry
It is 30 miles on this Long road to her 'Stairway To Heaven'
Seeing my mom's ashes floating in the water of Long Lake
Led Zeppelin is singing 'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN' as she requested

It is 30 miles on this Long road to her 'Stairway To Heaven'
When sun hits the water it is so calm and crystal clear, it's Long Lake
Led Zeppelin is singing 'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN' as she requested
My dad and I are traveling to my mom's 'STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN'
