I Love You Poem

Written for my Forever Love, Patty.

Embrace

Loving you is such a whole embrace,
for we enwrap each other as if one,
your self writ on my heart - possessive case,
each moment is a hug that's just begun,
neither time nor distance may erase,
our knot of love can never be undone,
none may change this love nor ever replace,
a oneness like our own beneath the sun,
if you were gone -- of me -- there'd be no trace,
obsessed, I'm sure, but not to be outdone,
for loving you is such a whole embrace.
