Romantic Valentines Day Poem

I wrote this poem as a tribute to all Family, Friend, Poetry Forum Members. In the forum section I had it printed in red ink for valentine's day with the first letter of each line in bold black. If you look straight down the first letter of each line it says, Family Friends Poetry Tribute To Each Poet. I hope you all like it. Happy Valentine's Day to all.

Family, Friends, Poetry Tribute

Family, Friends, Poetry,
A tribute to those who write.
May Valentine somehow be,
In each poet's heart tonight.
Laureates proudly display,
Your thoughts with a writing pen.

Flowers will just wilt away,
Roses only die again.
Intimate words declare love,
Everlasting and much more.
Never missed by God above,
Definitive that's for sure.
Superb and guaranteed to shine,

Poetry is like fine art.
Ode's to your sweet Valentine,
Escapes never from their heart.
Though you may think it's absurd,
Romantics to steal the show.
Your love must be in each word,

The verses must let them know.
Romance is what you express,
Intimate is how you feel.
Beautiful thoughts you confess,
Undying love filled with zeal.
The poetry of love birds,
Enchanting and so divine.

Tenderness in loving words,
Only for your Valentine.

Every verse makes a heart beat,
And sound just like a wind chime.
Cupid's bow cannot retreat,
Heart's rejoicing with each rhyme.

Poetic words so valid,
Ode's that will forever shine.
Every sonnet and ballad,
The love of St. Valentine.
