Thank You Poem for Friends
I dedicate this poem to my true friends.
Friendship

You were a shelter
From life’s frequent storm;
Like a comfortable blanket;
You kept me snug, safe and warm.
You were a light in the window
When everything’s dark;
You were a trip to the circus,
A picnic in the park.
Like a bright, sunny summer,
You were joy without end;
And I’m so very privileged
To call you my friend.
But now I feel everything is lost
As you are not with me.
From life’s frequent storm;
Like a comfortable blanket;
You kept me snug, safe and warm.
You were a light in the window
When everything’s dark;
You were a trip to the circus,
A picnic in the park.
Like a bright, sunny summer,
You were joy without end;
And I’m so very privileged
To call you my friend.
But now I feel everything is lost
As you are not with me.
