Just Friends Poem

Hi, I wrote this poem to a friend of mine, the more I was around him the stronger my feeling became, we were the really close friends but I soon found out that a friend is all he will ever be....Lesson learned don't fool around with friends as your feelings can get stronger and to them its all just a bit of fun and you end up hurt and a friendship lost.

You came into my life so quick
A beautiful friendship happened in a wink
My feelings turned to love
I wondered if you felt the same
or if it was wrong for me to feel that way
When we are around each other
it feels so right, we seem to complete each other
I soon found out you didn't feel the same
Now I'm the fool for not seeing
it was just a game.
