Father Poem

I wrote this for my father while I was in Drug rehab. He stood beside me no matter what. In loving memory of Edward Arnett 10/2/41-9/5/07.

Forever grateful is what
I am to you
Always looking out for me
is what you set out to do
"Thank you" are just words
I can't say them enough
Helping me through my hard times
the ones that were really rough
Each time you reached out to me
I pushed you away
Rehab is what I needed
and now I am back to stay
