I felt alone, I felt betrayed,
I felt hurt, I felt ashamed.
Was it something I did wrong,
Is it something I said,
I kept asking God why,
Why me, why this, why that.
Please God, cut me some slack.
Never did I think this was God's plan,
And I would be blessed with his spiritual hands.
God knows me well, he knows my pain,
He knows the hurt and all the strains,
For he himself has felt my pain,
So now I don't feel
Alone, betrayed, hurt or ashamed.
