This poem was written about Pearl Harbor. My grandfather was in it and he inspired me to write this poem.

Gone But Not Forgotten

A long time ago this day
The unspeakable took place
So let us not think who won or lost
Instead let us pray
For the ones who cannot say
For peace tomorrow and today
