I love you.
Those three words didn't mean a thing.
I thought we were meant to be,
But I guess it was just a fling.
There's a wall around my heart, stopping me from crying,
But there's something inside of me
That feels like it's dying.
You were everything I needed, cared for.
I chose you, but now my heart is sore.
You will never realize that you were my best friend too,
But believe me when I say this,
I really did love you.

If I told you, would it change anything? Would you see me differently? Would you still be my best friend? Would you be mine? Would you even care? If I said you broke my heart...how would you feel? You ripped out my heart..you didn't realize it? I only have myself to blame for thinking we could be more than friends .

This happened to me.... I loved my boyfriend but he just left me for this other girl. He said he loved me but I know he never did. I've only been heart broken once and I didn't realize how much it hurts. We broke up months ago but I still feel the same. It hurts a lot.

This poem about breaking the promise has really touched me. I have been heart broken so many times, I can't take it anymore I realize it every day it's better just being single and having guy friends. :)

This is just like me and my boyfriend. Although I haven't gotten everything straightened out, I still know he never even loved me. I was just a stepping stone on to another girl. I wrote a song for him and the other girl hasn't even kissed him yet or said she loved him. He tried to take me back but always say no! If he broke your heart once he is probably going to do it again... :(
