I Am Dying Inside

My heart is hidden by happiness and pride,
But in reality I am dying inside.
Slowly my corpse keeps getting sicker
While all my emotions seem to do is flicker.

Hi, my name is Gabi. I am 13 years old, almost 14. My family isn't super rich nor are they poor, we are living a perfect life. Well that's what everyone else sees. I am obese and I am trying to lose weight, but every time I try someone says something that will rebound me. I hide the pain and sadness, behind a girl who is smart and happy and very proud of everything she does. In reality I am just slowly fading away. The only thing that sometimes reflects my pain and sadness is my shyness. I know I am socially awkward, so people telling me I should be more outspoken doesn't really help.

It's really good to know you are at least uncovering the fear and the depression you have. But you know one thing? Every problem has a solution, had the same problem, and I worked on it and finally, I'm out of it, living a very fascinating life now.
