My mum and I are very close and lately we have been drifting apart, so I thought I'd write her this poem just to tell her how much I love her and how much she really means to me.

Mum, as from the start
I have loved you with all my heart
I can't tell you how much I care
There are so many things I would love to share

There are so many ways I could say I LOVE YOU
And I know you think the same too
I can't begin to explain how happy I am when I see your face
I'm so glad that I live at your place

I love that sweet smell on your pillow
It would be great to take a walk under the willow
Mum, I have so much love for you
But when it comes to other people there's only a few!!
