A mother shares with her son on his 21st birthday the joy that she has experienced raising him
I'll Always Remember
©

On October 4th,
I had a son.
I had no idea,
It would be so much fun.
A beautiful baby,
For me to love.
Truly, a wonderful gift
From above.
I rocked you at night,
And I sang you to sleep
Those moments I'll cherish,
And I won't share a peep.
A beautiful baby,
I have no more.
You're all grown up now,
You have the world to explore.
But I'll always remember,
the time in that rocker.
And I hope you'll have memories,
When you become 'father'.
Happy 21st Birthday, Son.
I love you with all my heart,
Mom
I had a son.
I had no idea,
It would be so much fun.
A beautiful baby,
For me to love.
Truly, a wonderful gift
From above.
I rocked you at night,
And I sang you to sleep
Those moments I'll cherish,
And I won't share a peep.
A beautiful baby,
I have no more.
You're all grown up now,
You have the world to explore.
But I'll always remember,
the time in that rocker.
And I hope you'll have memories,
When you become 'father'.
Happy 21st Birthday, Son.
I love you with all my heart,
Mom
